Dark Addictz (DA). The name comes partly from the fact that all of our team members are too addicted to fighting games for their own good. There is no cure for this addiction except play some more! We play from sunrise to sunset although we prefer gaming at night until early morning when often our true abilities are evoked and our strategies and combos are unleashed upon our opponents.

The team concept was founded by BlazeD and Sinala in summer 2003 and the site design layout and concept was created by Battousai and BlazeD in Fall 2003. The Dark Addictz team has grown to become a very strong team with an emphasis on learning from each other and backing each other up. Our goal is to build a cohesive online gaming community with skilled players that is active and games in a mature manner. In addition we also stress the importance of practicing combos and techniques you learn from others as well as experimenting with new ideas that will allow you to eventually form your own unique techniques. We record our own combos and have our own Dark Addictz Combo Library which you can access via our Downloads page. Although BlazeD and Sinala are "Co-leaders" each member is instilled with the opportunity to teach and or help other members on the team reach their full potential. We look for skilled members and those that posses the potential to be great. We are not only teammatees, but we are friends. We train together, chill together, have fun as a team. A myth is that we only play Marvel Vs. Capcom, which is utterly untrue. We play other games in the series X-Men VS. SF, MSH, MSH Vs. SF, XMCOTA, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 or ANY game that kicks @ss. We are constantly upgrading our site, and always expanding our interests in new games within the fighting realm.

Q: "Why join a team, particularly DA? I'm better as a solo player and teams are not for me."

A: It's up to each person to decide whether a team is or isn't for him/her. Dark Addictz does take some level of commitment however if you wish to improve your skill, joining DA will be well worth your while. As a member of DA, you receive 1 on 1 training with the trainers, and play PRIVATE games with some of the top players on kaillera. Those who feel that a team isn't for them should try DA first, then make their judgement. Being apart of the team you may email or instant message team mates whenever they are logged on and ask them to play a game on kaillera. In this respect, our team may be looked at as a resource that you may access at anytime.

Q: "Why join DA over any other team?"

A: If you just take a few seconds to browse our site, particularly the downloads section you will notice something strikingly unique about our team: we have content; a lot of it. At our site you may download combos, match videos, glitches, kawaks replays and more. Our site is constantly updated and each member has his/her own folder in which his combos are stored (if they chose to submit combos). Each member of this team was recruited because they are talented in one or several games.

Q: "Is DA the best team?"

A: There is no such thing as "the best team". Each team out there is different and has its own purpose and goals. You will have to determine if your goals match that of the DA team: to reach your full potential in your game(s) of interest, and have A LOT of fun while doing it.


Q: "Why do I have to wear tags?"

A: Wearing our unique DA tags allows fellow team mates to be able to recognize and spot you in servers on kaillera. This way if you do not have a way to contact a member outside of kaillera, these tags serve as a mechanism of identifying members and creating a sense of unity within the team. In addition, it also allows us to stand out from other kaillera players and distinguish us as a team. And of course, the tags look cool! =]
